HOW TO GET 20K INSTAGRAM FOLLOWERS IN 1 YEAR ORGANICALLY | GROW INSTAGRAM FOLLOWERS FAST IN 2021
In today's blog post I want to reveal all the main steps I took to get 20K instagram followers in 1 year organically and how you can grow instagram followers fast in 2021.
Are you an Entrepreneur, Content Creator, Blogger, Coach or Consultant and want to drive traffic to your website, blog, instagram or other social media platform? Do you want to grow your instagram followers fast and turn them into clients? Well Instagram is a great relationship platform, where you can build a community, attract clients and turn your followers into clients.
Tip #1: Change your Instagram account to Business Account
Change your instagram account to business account so you can analyze your statistics and demographics. You will be able to analyze:
- insights: insights of each post like engagement, reach (how many unique accounts your post reached) and impressions (how many times your post was viewed in total)
- statistics: reach and impressions weekly, follower amount and follower growth
- demographics: location of your followers, age, gender etc.
You need to be able to see and analyze which instagram posts of yours perform better than others and start understanding your audience. You will be also able to analyze which time of the day most of your audience is on Instagram and that way you can be strategic and post your instagram content at those times. Analyzing and research will help you in growing on Instagram and getting Instagram followers fast.
How to switch to Business Account:
Go to your Instagram app, click Settings and Account. Scroll down and you will see "Switch to Business Account". You will be able to see the insights on each future Instagram posts by going on the each post and clicking View insights under the picture.
Tip #2: Consistency
I can't highlight this enough. Consistency is the key in growing Instagram followers. You want to make sure that your audience knows when they can expect a post from you. This is one of the biggest challenges for most content creators, bloggers, entrepreneurs, coaches and consultants. You need to stay in your followers' mind and let me know, that they can expect you sticking around, so you can build the trust with your audience.
Creating content can be really time consuming, you have to take pictures, create captions and schedule posting - all that takes a lot of work. But there is no reason to be overwhelmed because there are several good strategies how you can plan your content and still have a life. Tip #3: Use Right Hashtags
I definitely hear a lot of frustration and confusion what comes to using hashtags. But instead of making hashtags your enemy, let's make them your best friend! Grow Instagram followers fast by using the right hashtags and get better reach. The truth is using hashtags will get you more visibility and reach right people (=potential clients), if you know how to use them.
How to research #hashtags.
1. If your account is smaller like under 5,000 followers use hashtags with smaller reach (under 1M, use a combination of smaller and bigger hashtags with reach from 1,000 - 50,000 and few bigger ones over 100,000). You can see the reach of a certain hashtag when you go to Instagram app and type a hashtag in the Search tab. 2. Don't use general and big hashtags like Entrepreneur or Fashion (71M reach), because your post will get lost in the sea of content. Instead check which other options Instagram is providing you with smaller reach.

4. Don't use same hashtags in every post and rotate your hashtag sets.

Tip #4: Giveaways
Giveaways are a good way to boost your growth, get you more visibility and grow your engagement. Things to take into consideration:
1. Pick a right giveaway for you and your niche to target the right audience, because you want the followers to stay and follow you even when the giveaway is over.
2. You can do giveaways with giveaway accounts or other bloggers. Good gain is about 100-500 followers per giveaway.
3. Do 1-2 giveaways a month to boost your growth, but try not to do more than that so you would grow more organically, also giveaways might be pretty expensive.
4. Research the giveaway account you want to do a giveaway with and be careful with international giveaways. Many giveaways can be just waste of your time and money so you might want to check out the followers and engagement of the giveaway account before signing up for one and check out if they have legit followers and legit people engaging with their giveaway posts and tagging other legit instagram users. Tip #5: Optimize Your Bio
Attract new audience, clients and brands with your Bio. Think from the perspective of potential follower, client or brand - why should they follow you, buy from you or work with you? What can you offer? Be specific in your bio and clarify what you can offer and what kind of value you can bring to your followers, clients and brands.
Include a link in your bio, but remember to describe what your potential followers, clients or brands can find by clicking the link, add a description above the link.
Pick a profile picture that will stand out.
Tip #6: Engage with Right Audience
Want to get 20K Instagram Followers in 1 year organically? Well you have to engage with right people. You need to figure out what kind of followers you want to attract and target the right audience. Think what do you want to get out of Instagram now and in the future. Instead of spending hours of being part of engagement groups and exchanging likes and comments (which is basically fake and those followers will never convert to sales or clients) use that time to reach new genuine followers and people who you think might actually enjoy your content.
To target the right audience you need to figure out your niche. Especially if you are planning on turning your social media presence into a career and becoming a Content Creator, Entrepreneur, Coach, Consultant etc. Picking the right and profitable niche can be tricky and one of the things content creators and entrepreneurs struggle with, so in my unique Signature Program InstaMediaGuru I teach how to pick the right and profitable niche and use engagement strategies to save time without spending hours and hours on Instagram engaging.
Tip #7. Other Social Media Platforms
Sometimes in order to grow on Instagram you need to get off the Instagram. You can get Instagram followers and grow on Instagram faster if you also manage other social media platforms. Instagram is one of the hardest platforms to grow on, especially with Instagram algorithm changing. So what you want to do is grow on other social media platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Tik Tok, Pinterest and create your website and/or blog. Link all the social media platforms together so you can drive traffic from your other social media platforms to your Instagram and vice versa.
Sometimes it is easier for people to find you elsewhere and also we never know if Instagram will disappear one day (or any other social media platform), that is why you don't want to put all of your eggs in one basket.
One thing to take into consideration though is the time. You have to ask yourself how much time do you have to manage several social media platforms and prioritize.
