Grow your brand and business with Pinterest in 2021
Are you utilizing Pinterest for growing your brand and business?! If not, you definitely missing out! Pinterest is one of the best platforms (in my opinion!!) to get traffic to your blog, website or other social media platform! And it is so much easier to get views on your pins aka content on Pinterest compared to other social media platforms! I got from 70 views to over 80,000 views in only 1 month!! Isn't it crazy?! 1. Picking a niche
Like on any other social media platform picking a certain niche on Pinterest is extremely important, especially on Pinterest! Because Pinterest is a great source of information and inspiration, you want to make sure that you are clear about your niche - optimize your profile and cover and remember to add your website, blog or URL for another social media platform.

If you want to target a certain audience make sure you are clear about your niche and what your brand and business are all about, this is extremely important if you want to target the right type of audience on Pinterest, drive that traffic to your website and convert them into clients.
2. Get more views with consistent pinning
The biggest difference in my views where I got from 70 to 80,000 views in one month was definitely the fact that I started pinning regularly and consistently.

I started posting pins on Pinterest on August 22, 2020 and see how fast I started getting more and more views. The best thing is that it is so easy to share your Instagram post or blog post to Pinterest! You don't even have to create a new piece of content or pin, just share it from Instagram or your blog.
Another good thing is that when you are posting content and getting a lot of views you drive that traffic to your website, blog, Instagram or other social media platform, but in order to do that you have to optimize your pins (pictures, title and description and use proper keywords) and all you have to do is add URL to your pins.

HOW TO GET MORE VIEWS ON PINTEREST
1). Pinterest boards and pinning
What I did when started posting content on Pinterest every day for a month is that I created different boards where I would pin regularly my own content and other people's pins.
What comes to naming the boards you don't want to use boring generic names, but rather what your target audience might be interested in. For example instead of naming a board "Instagram" name it "Instagram hashtag tips".
2). Pinning strategy
So what I did in order to get more views on Pinterest and grow my Instagram brand I pinned my own content to my several boards (same pin on few different boards) and I also pinned other people's pins on my several boards (same pin on few different boards) .
Pinning can be time consuming like any other social media platform so if you don't have much time to pin every day I recommend using TAILWIND APP . Its a pretty awesome tool to schedule, manage and grow your Pinterest account.
3. Follow the trends
Another thing that I did a lot is I pinned a lot trending content, for example different inspiration for upcoming holidays etc. Pinterest is a great tool for inspiration and pinning a lot of trending content will definitely get you more views and followers and will drive more traffic to your website, blog and other social media platforms.
Even if the content that you are pinning is not really in your niche, it is okay, because Pinterest is a great platform for inspiration, any kind of inspiration.

4. Get more clicks with strategy
This is where you really need to study Pinterest, meaning go on Pinterest and research how other profiles make their pins. Pinterest content definitely differs from other social media platforms so you really need to do your due diligence to see and experiment what works and what doesn't.
1). Media strategy
The way to get more traffic on your website, blog or other social media platform is to be strategic about pictures and videos you upload. Make sure you summarize either the problem or the problem and the solution in your picture. What I mean is that if you are a service provider and solving a certain problem, make sure that you have a certain strategy of tackling certain sub-topics and issues in your pins and utilizing the pictures using more text in them.
Pinterest is even more visual than Instagram, that is why it is important to make your pin aka picture or video related to the topic that you are addressing either in your blog post or freebie or instagram post. And CANVA is a great tool for creating pins. So if you are sharing certain instagram content strategy tips for example, make sure you include that headline or main points in the design rather than post a picture of a pretty view.
2). Pin title and description
What comes to title and description you need to optimize the keywords that you want to be found in on Pinterest. More about optimizing your pins in my FREE PINTEREST GUIDE.
Basically title can be a short keyword phrase summarizing what your pin is all about and make sure you include related keywords in the pin description. Using hashtags is optional, but I personally used both keywords and hashtags in my pins, so you can definitely experiment with both.
These are pretty much the main tips I had for how you can get more views on Pinterest and drive more traffic to your blog, website or other social media platforms.
